Subbed In X National Young Writers' Festival

 

The National Young Writers' Festival kicks off this Thursday in Newcastle and we're stoked to be a part of this year's incredible program.

Here's a quick run down of where you'll find Subbed In authors, organisers, and books during NYWF.

Subbed In books will be available from the official NYWF bookshop located inside Newcastle Library for the duration of the festival as well as at the NYWF Zine Fair on Sunday.

Food Court vs. Subbed In: Maintaining Resources for Emerging Writers

And subbing in this year is...


Subbed In authors Patrick Lenton and Alex Gallagher as well as Subbed In director Dan Hogan will be appearing at various events throughout the festival.

Alex Gallagher (author, Parenthetical Bodies) will be appearing at Cuplet Carnival, Food Court vs. Subbed In, Late Night Readings as well as a panel hosted by Archer Magazine about mental health. Plus more. Check out all the events in which Alex is involved here >

Patrick Lenton (author, Uncle Hercules and other lies) will be signing books at the NYWF Zine Fair on Sunday at Newcastle Library (Uncle Hercules is officially released tomorrow!). Patrick will be signing copies of his new book at the Subbed In table from 1:30-2:30pm. Also, Patrick may or may not be making a surprise appearance at Sunday night's Late Night Reading... 😱

Dan Hogan (the person who runs Subbed In) will be appearing at a bunch of events, including a debate, panel, and reading about class, DIY stuff, zines, and other things. Check out all the events in which Dan is involved here >
